Easter fun at Daisy as Holiday Club hailed a success

Daisy Inclusive UK CEO Dave Kelly has hailed the charity’s Easter Holiday Club a ‘huge success.’ The Liverpool-based organisation, which helps vulnerable people and their families across the city and beyond, kept its beneficiaries royally entertained during a jam-packed two-week programme of activities.

From days out to Croxteth Park Farm and Lush for the Mini Smilers, to afternoon tea and a rugby session delivered by Dallaglio RugbyWorks for the big smilers, there was something for everyone.

The Club ended with a magic show and an Easter egg hunt for the little ones, with everyone receiving a free Easter egg for attending.

“I would like to thank everyone who has took part in the Easter Holiday Club as well as our incredible funders for enabling us to deliver the best service possible,” said Dave.

“I hope our beneficiaries and their families have had a lovely Easter weekend, and we’re looking forward to continuing our mission of helping vulnerable people across the city.

“There is lots to look forward to, with the Merseyside Inclusive Sports Tournament, Viathlon and Dinner in the Dark coming up in the months ahead.”

Phil Leeson, Project Development Manager at Daisy Inclusive UK, added: “We’ve had two main funders supporting our Easter Holiday Club. HAF funding, which is a holiday activity fund through Liverpool City Council, and the other organisation is Feeding Britain.

“We would like to thank them for their fantastic support.”
