Daisy Inclusive UK’s Mini SMILE Easter Holiday Club concluded on Friday, with its CEO Dave Kelly paying tribute to staff, volunteers and beneficiaries at the Everton-based charity.
The Mini SMILE Easter Holiday Club is funded by UK Government Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme, and helps Daisy provide a variety of activities for children aged 5-16 such as arts and crafts, sport, days out and healthy eating.
Meanwhile, there was a number programme of activities for the charity’s adult beneficiaries, including gardening, exercise classes and lifestyle workshops.
“We’ve been extremely busy every day putting amazing stuff on for our Mini SMILE beneficiaries,” said Dave.
“The Big SMILE have all been having fun as well, so we’ve had a full house and it has been absolutely tremendous.”
