SOLD OUT | Dinner in the Dark

Daisy Inclusive UK’s Dinner in the Dark, which takes place on Saturday 15 November, has sold out.

Dave Kelly, CEO at Daisy Inclusive UK, who went blind in his early thirties, said: “I cannot thank the local community enough for their huge support of this event, which is close to my heart.

“It promises to be a great evening and we’ll be repeating this event in the near future.

“As the dark nights draw in, it is a great opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy each others company and most importantly – raise awareness for the visually impaired.

“We also want to highlight the fact that despite an individual having a disability, it should not hamper their dining experience.”

Guests will be treated to a slap-up three-course meal whilst blindfolded courtesy of Head Chef Ian Radcliffe, who has an impressive background having cooked for A-list stars and players at Liverpool Football Club.

The event is designed to raise awareness and foster empathy for the challenges faced by people who are blind or visually impaired.
