Daisy Inclusive UK Open Day – Wednesday 16 July

Daisy Inclusive UK are hosting an open day on Wednesday 16 July at its Everton base in Liverpool, giving businesses, members of the public and those interested in using the service the opportunity to learn more about the charity.

Starting at 10.30am, the event will showcase the charity’s SMILE Club (for 16+) and how the power of sport is used as a vehicle to help disabled and vulnerable people across Merseyside to reach their true potential.

Daisy Inclusive UK was founded by Dave Kelly in 2004 after the Liverpudlian went blind aged 30 in the early 1990s. A motivational speaker and a passionate sports enthusiast, Dave aka ‘blind man with a vision’ has had a positive impact on the lives of many people across the region.

“The open day is a fantastic opportunity for businesses, organisations and anyone looking to use our service, to learn more about what we can do,” said Daisy Inclusive UK CEO Dave Kelly.

“We would love to meet as many people as possible. It would also be great to meet businesses who are looking to collaborate with a charity.

“Our Community Champions Lisa McCann has been a superb addition to the Daisy team, and she has been the key driver behind this event which we’re extremely grateful for.”
