Daisy Inclusive UK hosted an annual Christmas lunch for their adult beneficiaries as part of its Big SMILE programme, which is funded by local and national organisations.
Cooking up a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, Head Chef Ian Radcliffe was hard at work in the kitchen as the Liverpool-based charity spread some much needed festive cheer.
“It’s great that the beneficiaries get to enjoy a hot nutritious Christmas dinner, and it was a pleasure cook for them,” said Ian.
“There’s never a dull moment in the kitchen and it can get stressful when you’re cooking for so many, but it’s worth it.”
Dave Kelly, CEO at Daisy Inclusive UK, added: “I love Christmas and no one should go without enjoying the festivities and it is a time for giving.
“Ian cooked an amazing Christmas dinner and it was the best gravy this side of the Mersey! A big thank you must go to our funders, who make these events possible and to the Orange Lodge, The Ivy, who donated £100.”
